This past weekend, we stepped back in time for a truly enchanting celebration. We marked another beautiful year in the aesthetics and wellness industry. Our anniversary event was inspired by the timeless elegance of the Regency era. It brought together clients, staff, and friends. The afternoon was filled with glamour, gratitude, and unforgettable memories.

How does the Skin Lueur Hollywood Laser Peel Work?

At Skin Lueur, we utilize a Tier 1 laser, specifically the Alma Clear Lift Laser. This state-of-the-art machine is designed to safely and effectively remove the charcoal mask applied during the procedure. Unlike other methods, this advanced technology ensures that the carbon—known for its ability to attract toxins and impurities—is eliminated without harming your skin. It’s crucial to understand that if the charcoal mask isn’t thoroughly removed during laser treatment, it can penetrate your skin, leading to potential issues.

The Procedure:

Before we begin the procedure, we start by cleansing your face using our premium Canadian-made products to ensure no makeup, dirt, or oil on the skin. We then apply a thin layer of liquid carbon which we leave on your skin to dry for 15-20 minutes to absorb any skin impurities and pus-forming bacteria. We do light extractions for acne-prone clients before applying the Carbon gel.

Once the Carbon is dry, we may begin the treatment using our Alma Clearlift. A protective eye shield is worn.

The Clear Lift laser gently removes the carbon mask, dead skin, dirt, and excess oil. At the same time, it stimulates collagen production, promoting disruption and remodeling of the skin.

For the final touch, any excess carbon gel is then wiped off and followed by applying post-procedure products suited to your skin type and sunscreen.

Avoid sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Use a physical sunscreen like our line of Monter Skin sunscreens.

Use a gentle cleanser twice daily, and avoid any harsh scrubs or acids.

Avoid products with hydroquinone, tretinoin or harsh acids.
